Welcome to the country message

"Listening to Land – Connecting to Country," a captivating artwork by the talented indigenous artist Riki Salam.

This artwork is an inspiring exploration of our connection to the land, inviting us to listen to its stories and embrace the rich tapestry of culture that enriches our lives.

As the animation artist behind this project, I had the privilege of bringing this masterpiece to life under the TPG Telecom banner.

It was a remarkable challenge as the goal was to ensure that every facet of the artwork's profound story was incorporated into the animation, preserving its essence and message.

Coffee Break

A collaboration with illustrator Gwen Thomas. This project involved animating a still image provided by the illustrator. A very challenging project that required breaking down the artwork into separate pieces to animate them individually. The look I wanted to accomplish was that it was a handrawn illustration.

Netflix Stranger Things

This animation was orginally supposed to be just a stills image promoting the show ‘Stranger Things’. I decided to animate it by breaking down the image and animating certain elements. This was sent to Netflix for approval as they had no idea it was being done. Fortunately they approved the animation making it the first of its kind.

Vodafone You Rule

Launching the new “You Rule” campaign, I created this animation from a still image the studio had provided. Video elements were added such as the flames on the contract and smoke and embers providing the atmosphere. The arm is slightly animated to give a bit of life to the talent.

Google Home

An animation to promote Vodafones Smart Home products. In this particular animation it was to promote the Google Home max. Being a digital screen with no sound I designed the animation to emulate the voice commands by animating it in a way as if a person was issuing a command.
